Cinzia Quadri grew up in Sabbioneta and lives between Lombardy and Umbria. From an early age she has cultivated a passion for art. Events and social standards led her to economic studies and a normal job. But over time her real passion emerged above everything. Inducing her to return to her true path, that of art, painting and photography.

During the years of work at a commercial studio (between 1991 and 2001), she continued to paint as a self-taught, in the meantime she attended several courses. She attended a course in fashion photography, a course in graphics and one in the study of the human body. Later, she went to Umbria, in Deruta, at the workshop of a great local master, Romano Ranieri, and attended a course in Renaissance Painting on Majolica. Finally in Bologna at the laboratory of the artist Silla Gardenghi an Airbrushing course and one in masonry techniques, and other courses.

Indulging in various techniques, the first one she experimented with was that of watercolor pastels, with which she creates landscapes with animals, mostly wild, a sign of a desire for freedom from the daily routine.

The creatures that most represent her are the ink drawings, also made on majolica, on steel and in oil, born from moments of unconscious inspiration, which express hidden emotions through her free symbolism of images intersected with each other, and also in words, poems, songs. She found a name for this technique “hindsight”, (literally it would be rear view, seeing from behind…that is, seeing things not as they appear to us, but going around them and seeing them from there, from the opposite angle). In spoken language, hindsight translates as “hindsight”, meaning an awareness of something after having studied it, tried it, absorbed it.
